After meeting in South Gate, CA in the late ’80s, Cypress Hill quickly rose in popularity, becoming a fan favorite. Noted for being the first Latino American hip-hop group to have platinum and multi-platinum albums worldwide, they set a new record by selling over 2 million copies during their debut. Cypress Hill is proud to say they were one of the original hip-hop groups to make it out of the West Coast.

Hip-Hop Legends Cypress Hill cemented their legacy by earning a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2018, becoming the first Latino American hip-hop group to receive this honor. Among their list of achievements, Cypress Hill became the first rap group to have two concurrent albums in the top 10 of the Billboard 200.

Cypress Hill pioneered the cannabis culture in hip-hop and has arguably done as much for the industry as any other music group. Their 1991 debut left a lasting impression in the space with bold titles like "Something For The Blunted" and "Stoned Is The Way Of The Walk". The band’s continued advocacy for cannabis is unparalleled in the hip-hop community and is seen as one of the main influences for the transparency of recreational usage.

A native of Cuba, Sen Dog understands that the core of music rests in your love for the art and being able to add in your own spice. Known for putting his heart and soul into his music, Sen Dog brought us some of the band's greatest hits such as "How I Could Just Kill A Man", "Tequila Sunrise", and "Rock Superstar".

Hailing from Queens, DJ Muggs is a member of and producer for Cypress Hill, and the leader of the hip-hop and art collective Soul Assassins. After starting his DJ career at 14, he produced Cypress Hill's biggest hits such as "Insane in the Brain", "I Ain't Going Out Like That", and "Hits from the Bong".

DJ Muggs

Born in LA, B Real grew up in South Gate and quickly rose to fame with his unique style of rapping. Together with DJ Muggs and Sen Dog, B Real released their first self-titled album in 1991, cementing Cypress Hill as the dominant group in the West Coast hip-hop scene.
